Today, on behalf of Mescioğlu Engineering & Consultancy, we had the distinct honor of meeting with His Excellency Lt Gen (Rtd) Charles Kayonga, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Türkiye.
As Mescioğlu Engineering, we shared our 40-year legacy in transportation infrastructure (i.e. highways, railways), detailed engineering design, and modern geospatial technologies. Building upon our existing footprint in East Africa—particularly in neighbouring Uganda—we discussed strategic opportunities to extend our technical expertise to Rwanda.
Our discussion centered on potential collaborations in:
🔹 3D Digital Cadastre for Kigali and secondary cities
🔹 Road & Transport Engineering in complex terrains, focusing on slope stability and landslide risk mapping
🔹 Supervision & Feasibility Studies for major transport corridors
By integrating traditional engineering disciplines with advanced technologies like LiDAR scanning, photogrammetry, and GIS, we remain fully committed to supporting sustainable development and high-standard infrastructure projects in Rwanda.
